It is clear that the EU is going to mess us about for as long as possible. We will probably have to take knocks both before and after we come out of the EU. But the British people can face adversity if they do the right thing. This means cutting loose from the monster that is the EU, negotiating with other countries outside of the EU, designing and building our own complete products once more, being more self-sufficient, with food for example. The recent Bombardier experience is a good example of how our aircraft industry has become dependent on the fortunes of other countries.
We have done it before we went into the EU and we can do it again when we come out of it. The labour party should be pleased that it would release the potential of British workers. We should never have been led into the EU in the first place. Over the years I have seen hundreds of companies and good jobs go from the Midlands area as a consequence of the EU and its emphasis on globalism.
The effect on the environment would be positive when we come out of the EU. The reduction in transport would be considerable with fewer lorries and fewer ships from China having to come into the UK.
