IF MAY WANTS TO REFORM THE NHS SHE SHOULD START WITH THE DOCTORS

All doctors are trained to invade the human body as though it is a machine!  They dish out pills, cut and chop.  When was the time that you were given any guidance on lifestyle, nutrition and exercise? I have never been given any advice, and doubt that doctors are capable of giving it.  Treatment becomes a matter of healing yourself.  Most doctors are sick of their job and can't wait to take early retirement, or they earn sufficient doing one or two days a week.  I think that the drug philosophy behind their practices is to blame for their their low morale. They simply wait for the body to break down and then try to patch it up. On the rarest occasion when I visit a GP I always take a careful look at the doctor to see how well they look.  They don't exactly inspire.

I wonder why every Christmas period the NHS is bogged down with work and then in the Spring and Summer we hear nothing.  It wouldn't be because we have all been abusing our bodies with too much alcohol, meat, carbohydrate and sugary foods would it, lowering our immunity?  There is certainly correlation between a bad diet and illness.  Most people do not understand what a good diet is, and that includes doctors.

The NHS is a broken philosophy. It needs reform starting with the training of doctors who should be taught nutrition, exercise and lifestyle as the means to a healthy body and mind. Only then will we see a fall in demand on the NHS.
