IT'S CHRISTMAS PRESENT TO TRUMP - COBHAM

This is IT's twisted way of releasing British talent. I have to wonder what IT's trouble is. IT can't make anything. IT only knows about Romeo and Juliet, more to IT's taste. Pretty IT. Like all the other IT's in parliament, gasbags, the lot. When are we going to get some sensible people in control, like British engineers and scientists? IT has thrown another jewel down the drain without any understanding. Years and years of hard work. This has been the Conservative and Labour policy over many decades. Give it all away. IT rhymes with?

Nationalise, Nationalise, Nationalise - British Business Under British Control

The only reason I have for voting Labour. It will start to do away with Globalisation. Much of British industry should be under British management and control, for a time at least. British jobs for British people.

Manufacture, Manufacture, Manufacture - The Way to Ensure British Jobs

Design, build and test aerpolanes, computers, mobile phones, anything electronic, hospital equipment, cameras, telephone exchanges, our own internet, cars, hosiery machinery, textile manufacturing machinery, domestic equipment - you name it, the British people can make it and sell it.  WE ONCE DID and we can do it again. But successive governments have let us down by allowing our industries to be sold off.  So what are you going to do about manufacturing CORBYN  and JOHNSON?

Sixty years ago I was a graduate apprentice working in a research lab owned by Associated Electrical Industries in Rugby. I was operating a high frequency induction machine drawing rods of silicon crystals from molten metal. The crystals were then cut into slices, doped with n-type or p-type chemicals for manufacture of power rectifiers to be used on electric trains, producing d.c. for the drive motors.

Shortly after, I worked for GEC on the logic design of telephone exhanges.  Chips with a few transistors were beginning to used.  This was the start of a technological revolution, leading to the manufacture in the UK of large scale integrated circuits used in computers and microprocessors.  This work was done by UK companies such as Ferranti in Manchester.

So where has all our manufacturing  gone to Mr Corbyn and Mr Johnson?

Wooing the British Public with their Imaginings

All the political parties are making their bids to woo the british public with their ever increasing offerings.  Yet none of them are saying how we are going to pay for it all.  The realisation will only occur after a party is in government when it will turn out its pockets and find them empty.  We have sold all our assets.  Almost sixty years ago we were in the lead making silicone crystals and slicing them into chips of various kinds.  They were fairly primitive but  were being used as rectifiers on electric trains or simple logic devices for telephone exchanges.  I know because I was working on those devices for Associated Electric Industries, and General Electric Company - the company that had a cash mountain.  The computer industry began to flourish in this country, with the likes of GEC, Ferranti and International Computers.  But succesive governments have overseen their demise along with hundreds of other companies in vital industries such as aerospace, shipping, cars, tractors, farming equipment, machine tools, steel production, the fibre industries, medicines - the list is endless.  This has led to a lack of skilled engineers and technicians, such that many with the potential are no longer interested.

Successive governments have not supported British manufacturing, whatever the economic weather.  They have allowed the sale of Companies to foreigners, expecting them to invest in this country.  Many Companies have been moved to another country where products are made that once were British.  We now buy them in.  The MG is a classic example.   I had an 88 year old Coventry man visit our house recently.  He was quite bitter about Massey Ferguson.  They were bought out and now make the tractors we once designed and built, but in the US.  We import the same Massey Ferguson tractors.  It is all about Globalisation.

The Labour Party say they will nationalise the railways, the water boards and electricity supply industries.  This would be one small step to retaining and developing our skills.  A Government is required that will step up to the plate and support all our industries.  Manufacturing stands at a very low level of 20% of our gross domestic product.  Only when manufacturing is restored to its original levels will we be able to pay for everything.

The Chinese Takeover of 'British Steel'

Yet another overshadowing of British workers who are no doubt pleased to be keeping their jobs, at least at present.   But they servilely accept the situation, knowing that it has been sold for a song to foreigners, like the hundreds of British companies sold off through the years.  Where is the pride in this?  So come on Johnson and Corbyn and every body else, when are you really going to support British workers?

Get Brexit Done - A Rubbish Conservative Phrase

Like May's vague expression "Brexit Means Brexit", "Get Brexit  Done" is an equally meaningless slogan trotted out by Conservatives in the hope that the British public would be fooled by such childish nonsense.  "Leave Means Leave" is much more understandable and meaningful to British minds.  It means what the British public voted for in the 2016 Referendum - that they simply wanted to get out of the EU, no ifs or buts.  Get that in your head Johnson.  We want to be out of the EU.  The best way is to support the Brexit Party.

The SNP Want Independance Yet Stay in the EU

What would Scottish people do if their country voted to be independant and a member of the EU, while the rest of Britain was out of the EU?  Does either the Scottish people or the rest of Britain relish that prospect?  I think not.  Just imagine a border with customs posts right across the UK.  Make no mistake that is what the EU would insist on.  The wreckers Sturgeon and Blackford are headed for disaster.  No wonder they want to keep Britain in the EU!

Parliament Has Failed the British People - Clear the Swamp

In the last three years we have watched Parliament let-down and exhaust the British people.  Each political party has contributed to the chaos.  It is time for a brand new start with a party that is clear about its intentions.  The party that will get us out of the EU immediately, with no deal, no ifs or buts, is the Brexit Party.   We need a clean break from the EU.  This is what the British people voted for.  No more wrangling!!!

Immigration is Still a Massive Problem

They are coming in hundreds of thousands taking British jobs, money out of the Britsh economy, and building mansions in their villages of origin.

Hundred of thousands of students with Chinese, Indian and other nationalities will all be allowed to stay in the UK for two years after graduating.   Many will no doubt be applying for UK citizenship.

They are working in the NHS, in IT for multinational companies at lower rates than British workers.  They are everywhere, diluting our British culture.  Net migration is an irrelevant and ridiculous statistic.

There are 3,000,000 immigrants from the EU, many supposedly the 'brightest and best'.  There is no London University that is not swamped by 'experts' from the EU.  Their best qualification is a foreign name.

Armageddon is arriving on British shores.

Check Every Lorry Coming into the UK

The Lorry carrying 39 illegal immigrants into the UK could be one of many given that only a small percentage are ever checked.   The lorries could be carrying anything, weapons, drugs or illegally manufactured goods.  So much for Interpol.  Britain needs to do its own checks.  These movements must be stopped.  We cannot rely on the EU to do it.

Johnson Has Betrayed the British People

The Brexit arguments have not been about the global industries which are the source of all our problems, and why I voted leave.  We are at their mercy.  British industry must be British owned.  A tide of inward investment is hailed as our saviour.

THE EU IS NOT READY FOR NO DEAL OR ANYTHING ELSE

I thought the EU was ready for NO DEAL.  But they are obviously NOT ready.  Today, Barnier said the EU would have to "pull apart" everything that had been put in place during the last 40 or so years.  Britain must get out of the bureaucratic nightmare of the EU talking shop and negotiate its own deals with whoever it wants.  If ever there is another war, the EU, controlled by France and Germany, will spend years discussing it before they do anything.  The world is becoming a very dangerous place, and the need for independence, and lightness of foot has never been greater.

The EU and Veradkar Holding the British Hostage

We have all had enough of the EU political machinations.  Just get out of the EU by October 31st.  No more talk of a deal.  I am fed up with Veradkar's nonsense holding us to ransom over the Irish border.

Making Great Britain Great Again

When are we going to design and build our own aeroplanes, cars, computers, power stations, medicines and all the other things we used to make?   Make Great Britain Great again.  Shake off the shackles of the EU and get out by 31st October.

Offensive Language - the Sanctimonious Justin Welby

The sanctimonious Justin Welby had to get in on the act.

There is far more really offensive language and invective coming from members of the opposition than from the Government side.   Chief offender among them is Jeremy Corbyn particularly with personal attacks on Boris.

Why does the BBC mostly attack Boris and stays quiet about the rants and ravings of Corbyn and the opposition?  The BBC is partial.  It is biased to what the media, such as Twitter, show and panders to what they think the public are interested in.

The Decrepid Top Establishment Couldn't Resist Sticking their Oar in

They just couldn't resist sticking their oar in when they should have kept out of it.  That was after the High Court did keep out it.  We are ruled by a decrepid top establishment.  Parliament (such as it is) makes the laws.

Making-up the Law after an Event

The Supreme Court Judges have made up the law after Parliament was Prorogued.  Not only that they decided that there was no prorogation after all, although the PM believed that what he did was lawful.  This is the same as inventing a law that introduces hanging after a murder has been committed.  If that is what the Judges have done, why didn't they anticipate the situation before?  These people are not fit for purpose.  How can the Judges say that the PM's decision to prorogue Parliament was unlawful when there was no law to prevent that decision?

Major, Cherry and Miller and Others Should Get a Life

Major, Cherry and Miller, and other like minded people, such as Blair and Cameron, should get a life.  No-one will believe that their cases against the Goverment were not political.  The reason for bringing their actions was not about shutting down Parliament, but arises from the fact that they want the UK to remain in the EU.  The Judges will no doubt bear their political motivations in mind as they consider the case brought against the Government.  These people cannot stand the thought of leaving the EU.  They simply hate Boris.

The British people decided three years ago that they wanted to leave the EU.

The Best Case Scenario of NO DEAL?

If  the Yellowhammer document is the worst case scenario of a NO DEAL, what is the Government's best case scenario of a NO DEAL?   Surely, the Government must also publish the latter.  Both such documents are bound to be speculative.  The released document is totally negative, as is the BBC.  I would have thought that the best case solution is to leave the EU without a deal on 31 October, fulfilling the result of the referendum.  A deal could be negotiated, as other non EU countries do, after we have left.

Educate the British - 450,000 Foreign Students To Be Allowed to Stay 2 Years After Graduating

It is bad enough to educate 450,000 foreign students (more than 100,000 of them Chinese) for the sake of growth in the economy, and the benefit of academics and the Universities.  But it is absolutely crazy to let foreign students stay for two years after graduating, taking the jobs of British people.  With floods of immigrants coming into the country we are going to be overwhelmed in many ways. Unless this nonsense stops it will eventually be the main issue of British politics, and I will be voting for the Brexit Party.

Opposition Parties Guilty of Manipulating the Law

Law is for the rich and powerful.  The Gina Miller and Scottish Court cases are examples.  The combined opposition parties are equally guilty of manipulating the law to get their own way.  Labour, SNP,  Liberals, and Conservative rebels be warned, you will pay.

Labour, the SNP and the Liberal Democrats Have Blown It

The British Public is not fooled by their combined maneuverings.  The public will eventually seek judgement at an election, whenever.

Well Done Boris!!!

Keep going Boris.  Give Corbyn and others who oppose you what they deserve.

SOME TOUGH DECISIONS FOR BORIS

Thank god that we have a prime minister who knows where he is going.  There are tough decisions to be made in the future.  He may appear to be dictatorial, but in the face of Corbyn and his allies of the SNP and others, and the utter morbidity of the EU, Boris is absolutely right to be so.

Wednesday, 28 August 2019

HAIL BORIS!!!

The opposition thinks that Boris has declared war.  If he has, it is not on the British people, but on the MPs who oppose NO DEAL and are remainers.  They just want power and cause trouble to that end.  Corbyn couldn't care less about NO DEAL.  It is just an excuse to create mischief.

HAMMOND IS A BETRAYER

The sly meally mouthed betrayer Hammond just cannot keep from meddling in the affairs of Brexit with his negative comments.   He pretends to have concern that No Deal would be bad for the British people, all sour grapes at his political suicide.  This despite the fact that British young people are fighting back getting good qualificatons to do real jobs for the country and economy.  This prospect alone gives hope that vacant jobs will taken up by British trained people.  This is one positive sign that Britain will come out of the EU with heads held high.  It may take time to sort itself out after October 31st, but betrayer Hammond should make no mistake, we will get there.

Friday, 9 August 2019

THE POSITIVE EFFECTOF BREXIT

We are going to leave the EU on 31st 0ctober, and we will get what was promised by Government and opposition.  The freedom will be a great psychological relief for the British people.  We will be free from the shackles of the EU.

Corbyn does not have a genuine bone in his body.  He changes like the weather.  He is an opportunistic fraudster making trouble whenever he can, like many in his party.  They create artificial arguments, simply to cause opposition, and are not in politics to help the country but merely seek power for themselves.

THE LOW POUND IS AN OPPORTUNITY THAT KNOCKS

Start to manufacture the stuff we normally buy in.  Globalisation has denuded our nation of its traditional skills.  The Chinese now control the world.  Reverse the evils of Globalisation.  Become a truly independent nation, as we once were.

Welsh farmers can supply the British.  No need to pay for transport to the EU or anywhere else.

CALL A GENERAL ELECTION IMMEDIATELY

Whoever becomes Prime Minister should be bold and call a General Election immediately.  Corbyn is reeling and Labour is low in the polls.  The Conservatives need a sound majority to make sure that they can overcome the impasse in Parliament caused by Labour and Conservative naysayers.  The popularity of the potential leaders is high. An election would also give Conservative party members the chance to choose new representives, deselecting those who oppose no deal and brexit.

DARROCH THE FOOL

If Darroch is representative of all civil servants then all civil servants must be fools.  Such people don't deserve to represent or serve the country.  It is all very well to write a report honestly, but to use such language as he has done of the American President and close colleagues is the height of ignorance.  In the age of electronic communication, he should have known that his thoughts were almost bound to be leaked.  He should have been more circumspect.  Darroch has brought his resignation on himself.  He cannot blame Boris.  One cannot but believe that he was politically motivated, and anti-Brexit.  It is certainly in the public interest to find out what kind of people represent us.

JEREMY HUNT WROTE THIS

"Only by leaving the European Union can we focus on .... on exciting plans to transform our country: firing up our economy to be the world’s next Silicon Valley;"

Laughably, Mr Hunt, the "business man" who is supposed to know, doesn't realise that we don't even have the start of a Silcone Valley.  Why?  Because successive Governments have given away brilliant industries making our own devices and computers.

SMALL ENGINEERING COMPANIES IN THE MIDLANDS HAVE NEVER BEEN BUSIER

Guess who they are working for?  Not the EU.  They are exporting to non-EU countries.  So no need to worry about coming out of the EU without a deal.

THE BRITISH COMMONERS ARE COMING - AREN'T THEY NIGEL

The fact that the Brexit party almost won the Peterborough by-election must have all the others quaking in their boots.

NIGEL FARAGE RATTLES PIERS MORGAN

But both, in effect, ignored what Anne Widdicombe said.

There were not so many LBGT people around when I was younger.  One has to ask, why?  There is so much pollution in the world that affects our bodies -  microplastics in the sea which we absorb through eating fish; microplastics in drinking water; air pollution from vehicles; food additives; chemicals used in farming; prescription and non-prescription drugs of all sorts; the list is endless.  I cannot believe that it is simply a matter of one's birth, although I could believe that pollution in all its forms does affect the state of new-born.  Scientific research needs to be done.

WHY IS BRITISH BUSINESS NOT AFRAID OF SUPPORTING ZERO NET EMISSIONS?

Duh! the answer is simple.  The British don't manufacture anything and don't produce any emissions.  These 'clever people' all import cheap goods from CHINA to sell at a profit.  CHINA has a big, big problem with its emissions. The British business leaders  (Mountain Warehouse is an example) say what a wonderful business they are as they pat themselves on the back for returning large profits.  Then they have the cheek to tell us that NO DEAL with the EU is a bad idea.   Never mind that the EU is also importing cheap goods from CHINA and wants to sell them to the UK with zero rate of exchange.  The same applies to British companies exporting to the EU.  The whole of EU and UK business is feeding off cheap goods from CHINA.  Its leaders create nothing.

REMAINERS ARE SHORT TERMISTS

Short termists focus on short-term objectives for immediate profit at the expense of long-term security. This is the nature of Remainers. They do not want to build the skills of their own indigenous people, but continually look to foreigners to get us out of a hole. Such are the likes of Hammond and Hunt. They do not support the weak state of British owned industry in which we could take pride. They prefer to sell it off to foreign buyers and stick with the status quo of globalisation. No political party has yet come up with a policy that supports British Industry. I hate globalisation.

Sunday, 26 May 2019

BRITISH INDUSTRY???

What has any politician done to support BRITISH industry?  I hope that whoever becomes PM will change this policy.  We were once a great industrial nation.  This included communications.  Yet now we cannot even design and build our own 5G Network, but have to rely on dangerous foreign products.  The politicians are totally disinterested in real business.

The number of British inventions is incredible.  But they have almost all been sold to the highest foreign bidder.  We must no longer expose ourselves to the global economy.  We are bound to lose if we do.

BEST TO LEAVE THE EU WITHOUT A DEAL

Leaving the EU WITHOUT A DEAL should be a priority.  Then we will negotiate from a position of strength.  Those that think, Rory for example, we could negotiate before we leave are badly mistaken, as history has proved.  Parliament just cannot agree.

Hammond's idea that Parliament would stop a no deal is because he knows that the Conservatives do not have a majority that would sweep aside Labour's objections.

The 27 countries of the EU cannot agree, and will try to keep us bogged down forever.

Thursday, 2 May 2019

THE MAY AND WILLIAMSON AFFAIR

What does this highlight?  It highlights that the UK is totally unprepared to design and manufacture its own 5G network, this despite having, apparently, the best universities, such as Oxford and Cambridge, to do it.  When are Governments, whatever their persuasion, going to wake up and give backing to British Industry that they have neglected for so long.

Friday, 12 April 2019

TODAY SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE DAY WE CAME OUT OF THE EU

For a second time we have been betrayed by May and Tusk.  They are both cheats.  Talk of Crashing Out, Falling of a Cliff, A Car Crash etc., is ridiculous nonsense.  This would have been a decisive time to leave the EU.  Everyone would have known where they stood, even the Government.  Instead, the process is being dragged-out with an indeterminate outcome.  We are heading for a very bad deal, that will satisfy no-one.

Thursday, 11 April 2019

NO DEAL - TREACHEROUS MAY AND TUSK

Now two dates (29th March and 12th April) will be past when Tusk and May have not kept their word.  THEY HAVE NOT ALLOWED THE UK  TO LEAVE THE EU WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD.  THEIR BEHAVIOUR IS UTTERLY TREACHEROUS AND INEXCUSABLE.

Sunday, 7 April 2019

NO DEAL - MAY IS BETRAYING THE BRITISH PUBLIC

To save her skin, that of 10 of her cabinet, and her deal, she is appealing to Corbyn who has always tried to wreck moves to extricate ourselves from the EU.  Corbyn's favourite words have been the highly emotive language: "crashing out".   It is clear that the Government has been beavering away to prepare for NO DEAL.  So has the EU.   We and the EU are prepared for it.  Bring it on!!!

COWARDLY MAY

Last night May locked her Cabinet in 10 Downing Street, and took their mobile phones off them so that they could not contact anyone to let them know what she was going to do.  She then made an announcement on Television that she was about to betray her Conservative colleagues and start negotiation with Corbyn, never mind that 14 out of 24 of her Cabinet were against this.  Treating her Cabinet like children is not the kind of leader I want.  She cannot trust the members of her own Cabinet.   This was absolutely disgusting.  I don't know how any member of the Cabinet would want to sit next to her in Parliament.

Saturday, 30 March 2019

WHY DID THE CABINET SUPPORT MAY'S DEAL?

The answer is obvious.  They wanted to protect their jobs.  This had nothing to do with what was in the best interests of the nation.  Hammond and company remained stoney-faced throughout the debates.  This cabal must go, and be replaced by true brexiteer leadership.  May only cares about legacy.  And Corbyn Rumpelstiltskin only cares about gaining power.

Saturday, 23 March 2019

THE BIGGEST EFFECT OF A NO DEAL

Something that all political parties have not considered is the latent, deep seated psychological effect on British workers of a NO DEAL. It would enable them to stand tall, believe in themselves, their own creative talent and enterprise. We once had this belief and it will come again.

Friday, 22 March 2019

MRS MAY'S LOVE-IN AT THE EU

Mrs May's love-in with the top EU leaders has been absolutely disgraceful.  She deserves to go.  We were all led to believe for over two years that we we going to leave the EU on March 29th.  But that has all changed, apparently.  Such is the leverage that the EU can exert upon us.  Mrs May has allowed the EU to twist her arm behind her back.

Monday, 18 March 2019

HAMMOND AND MAY'S BRIBERY

"The chancellor has pledged to spend a £26.6bn Brexit war chest to boost the economy, if MPs vote to leave the European Union with a deal", according to the BBC. I have never, ever heard of such bribery and corruption. Both May and Hammond have childish beliefs that the British public, and in particular the Conservative Brexiteers, can be bought-off.  These two old pals should be sacked, as a matter of principle. That money should be available when we leave the EU with NO DEAL on March 29th.

Sunday, 17 March 2019

MAY AND CORBYN COULD CAUSE RIOTS

If Britain does not leave the EU on March 29th with NO DEAL there could well be trouble that would make what is happening in France look like a children's tea party.  Corbyn's belligerent opposition to NO DEAL makes matters far worse.  No wonder the army is in a bunker preparing for the worst!!!

Thursday, 14 March 2019

HAMMOND SHOULD BE SACKED

Hammond was interviewed this morning on the BBC by Naga Munchetti.  She gave him an easy ride without challenging him.  She had no notes.  This was in sharp contrast to her colleague who did have notes, who subsequently interviewed a woman in a very challenging manner.  The woman was for prosecuting British soldiers over bloody Sunday.  Hammond was allowed by Naga to make what was in effect a rehearsed statement about why he had voted against the wishes of Mrs May last night.  May should sack him. Why was Naga so quiet?  Why did she have no notes prepared? Had she been told not to ask awkward questions?  Hammond is such a sly, smooth, slippery character who wriggles out of any situation and who moves in a world of the chief executives.  He is not fit to represent the ordinary man and woman, or the world of business, or the Government.  I hope, as many do, that NO DEAL is the final outcome on March 29th against the wishes of Hammond and all the other remainers who now pretend not to be.

NO DEAL - CERTAINTY

NO DEAL - WE ARE OUT OF THE EU

NO DEAL - WE WILL HOLD ALL FUTURE TRADE BARGAINING CHIPS

NO DEAL - WE HAVE FULL CONTROL OF OUR BORDERS (OUR IMMIGRATION LEVELS AND LAWS ARE A LAUGHING STOCK IN THE REST OF THE WORLD)

NO DEAL - WE CAN EDUCATE THE BRITISH AND NOT MILLIONS OF FOREIGN STUDENTS

NO DEAL - SIMPLY GIVES US EVERYTHING THAT VOTERS ASKED FOR IN THE REFERENDUM

NO DEAL - GIVES US THE CERTAINTY BRITISH INDUSTRY WANTS, NOW, NOT SOME TIME IN THE FUTURE!!!

I REMEMBER A TIME WHEN EVERYONE IN MY STREET HAD A JOB

That was when we used to make things.  It is why we should get out of the EU without a deal.  We must get those times back again.  The employment situation at the moment is an illusion.  We kid ourselves when we import goods to sell and call it a business.  It is a road to nowhere.  It is a road to  national bankruptcy.  Instead we are Spending! Spending! Spending!  Labour calls it investment.  Engineers and scientists would make a better job of Government than any of today's politicians.  Parliament is full of gas bags who have no idea of reality.

MAKE SURE YOUR NEXT CAR IS NOT JAPANESE

How can we trust foreign investors any more?  Shinzo Abe!!!  When are we going to learn our lesson?  We must start to design and manufacture complete products.  Now is the time to start.  We are currently exposed to the whims of foreigners who can close down our factories.  Labour's shadow secretary for business, Rebecca Longfellow was asked by a BBC interviewer this morning what Labour would do about Honda's closure of Swindon.  She gave her usual long rant, as she does, but AVOIDED ANSWERING THE QUESTION.  SHE HAD NO ANSWER,  just as Mrs May has NO ANSWER.  This is a message for all political parties.

Wednesday, 6 February 2019

DONALD WHERE'S YOUR TROUSERS???

He's lost them along with his mind.  We can see the EU starkers, laid bare.  Now we know their thinking.  There are 17,410,742 places in hell.

GOVERNMENT OFFERS BRIBES TO FOREIGN CAR MANUFACTURERS

The problem is that none of the companies are British.  We need to make more as we used to in our own factories.

We are living in la la land if we think that we are going to survive with only 20 % of our turnover given to manufacturing.  That 20 % could easily be taken from us because we do not design and manufacture complete products, such as planes and ships and cars.  We have become mere assemblers of parts made elsewhere.

It looks as though we are all working for the Chinese!!!  Just how much do we import from China, even if imported from an EU country???  Does the EU export Chinese made goods to us???  Of course it does!!!

THE GAS BAGS OF LONDON

You think you know everything.  You even know what is happening in the rest of the country and what the British people think about leaving the EU.  But you are all wrong.  The Labour Party is wrong.  The Conservative party is wrong.  Some of you think that the ERG is running things.  Most British people simply want to get out of the EU.  That is what they voted for.  The gas bags of London should come out of their bubble and realise that the British people have had enough of the EU.

Monday, 28 January 2019

DRUGS, FAKE GOODS, INFERIOR GOODS, IMMIGRANTS, FIREARMS, KNIVES !!!

Many of the things that are used for evil purposes are brought to this country by lorry.  That is why every lorry that enters the country must be inspected to make sure that these items are kept out of criminal hands.  It also raises questions about many of the drivers who knowingly bring them into the country.  We cannot assume the innocence of drivers and their cargoes any longer.  The same applies to goods brought in by aircraft.  We need to be much more vigilant.  A main reason for NO DEAL.

And where are the goods manufactured if not China???

YET MORE SCAREMONGERING - BY THE SUPERMARKETS

So the supermarkets are going to sell less fresh food, and the executives aren't going to make quite so much profit.  They are not really bothered about their customers who are far wiser and recognise a con.  The supermarkets are trying like Mr Enders of Airbus to scare us.  Such lazy people would be happy to remain in the EU folks.  I am sure, in their own interests, that they will find ways of countering any effects of NO DEAL.

At worst this can only be a temporary phenomena during March.  Significantly, this is also a time when redundancies are announced, 9000 at Tesco for example.

TRUMP IS RIGHT TO SEEK A WALL

The European system of  open borders is badly broken.  The Irish border needs manning, Mr Veradkar.  Backstop be blowed!!!  In today's world, Trump is right to seek a wall.  We need secure borders otherwise we will be swamped with illegals and inferior fake goods.  The parallels with what Trump is trying to do are obvious.

A NO DEAL Brexit will lead to more inspections of the thousands of lorries entering the UK bringing all sorts of inferior and illegal goods from all over Europe, and also reduce the number of illegal immigrants.  We need the log jams to check lorries. This would be a big relief to the British people

Brexit represents only a minor downside risk to UK industry compared to what has happened over the past fifty years.  Governments of all parties, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats, have presided over the destruction of our industries to the low level of 20% of the British economy.  They have stood idly by and watched as a vast number of industries have been taken from this country.  In the Brexit debates I hear nothing of what Government is going to do to promote, build and protect our industries.  The news has been all about what the Government is spending on the NHS - a bottomless pit.

BREXIT - A THREAT TO UK INDUSTRY???

Brexit represents only a minor downside risk to UK industry compared to what has happened over the past fifty years.  Governments of all parties, Labour, Conservative and Liberal Democrats, have presided over the destruction of our industries to the low level of 20% of the British economy.  They have stood idly by and watched as a vast number of industries have been taken from this country.  In the Brexit debates I hear nothing of what Government is going to do to promote, build and protect our industries.  The news has been all about what the Government is spending on the NHS - a bottomless pit.

Brexit just might help to rectify that and give us a more positive outlook.  A NO DEAL Brexit will lead to more inspections of the thousands of lorries entering the UK bringing all sorts of inferior and illegal goods from all over Europe, and also reduce the number of illegal immigrants.  We need the log jams to check lorries. This would be a big relief to the British people

The European system of  open borders is badly broken.  The Irish border needs manning.  Backstop be blowed!!!  In today's world, Trump is right to seek a wall.

MORE SCAREMONGERING - AIRBUS WARNING OF NO DEAL, SPARKING A TRADE WAR

Airbus chief executive Tom Enders has issued yet another stark warning about the effect a no-deal Brexit would have on the aviation giant’s UK business.  In a video message, Enders urged Britain’s politicians not to listen to “the Brexiteers’ madness which asserts that, because we have huge plants here, we will not move and we will always be here. They are wrong”. He said Airbus, one of Britain’s biggest manufacturers with 14,000 employees in the UK, would be forced to make “potentially very harmful decisions” for its UK business in the event of a no-deal scenario. (As reported by City A.M.)

British people do not like being threatened, Mr Enders.    The weakness of the Government's policy is starkly revealed.  We no longer build complete aircraft as we used to.  Building and transporting wings to the EU is not good for us nor the environment.  Mr Enders will not be able to change his methods of working for a number of years.  In the meantime we could be designing and building complete aircraft. Get Britain working again.

There are a vast number of Brexiteers Mr Enders, 17,410,742 to be precise.  Are they all mad, Mr Enders?  Mr Enders is the mad one, along with all foreigners who threaten us and seek to tell us what we should do.  Mr Enders is totally irresponsible by starting what looks like a trade war.  Mr Enders said, "it was a 'disgrace' that firms could still not plan for Brexit" He should have known better.  It is his behaviour which is a disgrace.

He should blame the EU not the UK. The EU has dragged out the negotiations for two and a half years and we are not even half way through the process. That is why we must leave the EU on March 29th without a deal. We simply cannot put up with all the argy-bargy any longer, which will continue ad infinitum  if we don't leave the EU immediately.  We need to make progress, to use a political term and disentangle ourselves urgently from the EU.

WHO IS GOING TO IMPOSE A CUSTOMS BARRIER IN IRELAND?

In the event of a NO DEAL the EU is saying that there will have to be a customs barrier on the border in Ireland.  So who is going to impose it and man it?  It won't be the British.  It will have to be the southern Irish, won't it Mr Veradkar.

PLAN B - NO DEAL

A NO DEAL puts the Government in the driving seat.  After March 29th the Government would be able to negotiate its terms, with the EU on the back foot.

NO DEAL - WHAT THE BRITISH PEOPLE REALLY WANT

The parliamentary leaders say they know what is best for this country and that they will protect jobs and the economy and unite the country.  The politicians want to protect their own jobs and argue themselves into oblivion. They say nothing that would lift the spirits of the British people and raise their hopes for the future and their children.  There have never been times that have been more creative than two world wars when our backs were to the wall.  These were periods when the British spirit manifested itself with a creative inventiveness never exceeded.  Radar, the Computer, the Jet Engine, the Spitfire and Hurricane, the Lancaster, and a host of other inventions and activities were hallmarks of what it meant to be British.   We all pulled together.  After World War II it was no different.  There was the Comet, Concorde, Nuclear Power, the Black Knight Rocket to mention a few of the many industrial and other projects that were symbolic of being British.  We can bring that spirit back.

NO DEAL - NO RISK OF PARLIAMENT

The longer this goes on the more I want to leave the EU on March 29 and not run the risk of all the chaotic parliamentary bluster that will inevitably lead to doom - a greater risk than any other. The same view appears to be true for the majority of people.  It isn't just the Conservative party who are at fault but the whole of parliament who are responsible for the mess.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION - TO PROPOSE THAT MEMBER STATES GIVE UP VETO ON TAX LEGISLATION

Next week, the European Commission will try to convince the remaining 27 member states of the EU to give up their veto on tax legislation from Brussels. It is a delicate demand and one that will raise concerns in Dublin. Tax has long been one of the most jealously guarded areas of national sovereignty. As a result, EU-wide tax law can only be passed by unanimity, with the active support of every member government. (As reported by the Telegraph today).

Countries will lose the ability to block EU rules. Yet another reason to disentangle ourselves from the EU interfering idiots!!!

SHINZO ABE - ALL TAKE

Shinzo Abe only sees the UK as a gateway to Europe.  Make no mistake.  This is a selfish reason for wanting to invest in the UK.  That is why the Japanese want May's DEAL.  My experience is that the Japanese only seek to take what technology they can from the UK (and other countries) and use it or make it themselves.   The last computer company in the UK, AIM of Cambridge, went to Japan.  They will complain like hell about a British product and then proceed to make it themselves.  That is my actual experience.  The Government and the City have allowed other countries to ravage us. We need to bring development back under our control.  The only answer is for the Government and the City to plough its money into industry.  We need to build our industries from the 20% level that it is at, to at least 50%.

DOMINIC GRIEF - WHAT A PLONKER!!!

Plan B indeed!  You have been told Mr Grief.  Don't you understand?  Are you really that thick?  Coming from a gas bag that has never made anything or created anything, who doesn't understand the British need to make things, what else should we expect? There is only May's plan or NO DEAL.  Be free Mr Grief!  Break-off the shackles of the EU.

EDUCATE THE BRITISH

University heads are warning a no-deal Brexit is "one of the biggest threats" the institutions have ever faced. Higher education leaders have written to MPs to say it is "no exaggeration" to warn that it would take universities "decades to recover". They say it would undermine scientific research and threaten universities' £21bn contribution to the UK economy. (as reported by the BBC today).

How wet can people get! The University heads should focus on educating British students. They are more concerned about their pay packets that are inflated by vast numbers foreign students, in effect pricing British students out.  As for research, we would eventually do much better to be independent, and not reliant on foreign academics or foreign investment.
A NO DEAL BREXIT is not a big threat but salvation for this country.

GOVE THE MOANER - WHAT A WET!

Farmers and food producers face "considerable turbulence" if the UK leaves the EU with no deal, Environment Secretary Michael Gove has said. He told the Oxford Farming Conference it was a "grim and inescapable fact" there would be tariffs on exports and new sanitary and other border checks. While "not perfect", he said Theresa May's Brexit deal would protect market access and provide economic certainty. (as reported today by the BBC)
BUT WHAT ABOUT TRADE FROM THE EU TO THE UK IN THE EVENT OF A NO DEAL.  You haven't thought this through, have you Mr Gove?  You see it works both ways with the UK imposing tariffs on imported goods.  Who will be the big losers then Mr Gove?  As for border checks Mr Gove, I would be happy to slow down the import of foreign goods many of which are inferior.  Inspection needs to be stepped-up to prevent inferior goods appearing in the market place, as they do.  And as for food and other standards, they all need improvement over those of the EU, never mind about preserving minimum standards.  We have become too complacent about EU standards, and the EU label.
