It is not about enriching its members.  The EU allows foreign Companies to buy-up all the businesses which are then in the hands of a few who are highly paid.  The  EU promotes globalisation.  It brings profits for a few, and impoverishment for the many.  So what is going to happen to your job, and your pride in it? The country will finish up full of low paid unskilled people.

Large Companies should be broken-up!!!!!  It should be legally possible for governments to do this.  Instead of growing into ever bigger monsters Companies should be cut down to size!!!!!  It isn't just about jobs.  It is about valuing human beings and their endeavour.

THE HOUSING SHORTAGE - PEOPLE ARE THICK

We are not building enough houses and that is why young people can't get on the housing ladder.  Right?  No Wrong.  There are too many people coming to this country (600,000 at the last count) that builders just cannot keep pace.  

And we do not want Chinese designed buildings here.  I am sick of everything Chinese.

10 YEARS TO BE CLEAR OF THE EU - REALLY?

This is according to the UK ambassador to the EU.  How ridiculous!!!  

Get out now.  We cannot continue in this vein.  Tell the EU we are leaving.  Let Companies negotiate between themselves.  

Trump is right about doing deals.  It is better to focus on deals than warfare in whatever form.  

I am sick of hearing the lurid language that the so-called hard brexit will be like falling off the edge of a cliff.  Set up deals with other nations outside the EU.  Then we could wipe the smirk off the EU bureaucrat's faces and they would be obliged to change their tune.  This would be an easy Brexit.

BUREAUCRATIC TO GET IN AND BUREAUCRATIC TO LEAVE

It took years of costly bureaucratic negotiation to agree terms after the Ted Heath took us into the EU. Now after saying that we want to leave the EU, there will be more years of time wasting, costly bureaucracy to negotiate our way out. Bureaucracy is what the EU is all about.  Why do we stand paralysed and blinded like rabbits in the headlamps of a car?

THE COUNTRY VOTED TO LEAVE THE EU.  WE ARE NOW SEEING A LOAD OF GAS-BAGS ATTEMPTING TO SPOIL THIS.  I SEE NOTHING WRONG IN THE GOVERNMENT OBEYING THE WILL OF THE PEOPLE AND TRIGGERING ARTICLE 50 NOW.

THE EU HAS REVEALED ITS NEGOTIATING POSITION.  "THERE WILL BE NO CHERRY PICKING PARTICULARLY WITH REGARD TO ITS FOUR FUNDAMENTAL PRINCIPLES." THAT IS ENOUGH TO SAY TO THE EU, GOODBYE.  WHY DO WE EVEN HAVE TO START NEGOTIATION?

GO ON MRS MAY TAKE A LEAF OUT OF DONALD'S BOOK.  SAY WE HAVE LEFT THE EU. IF WE CONTINUE AS WE ARE, WE COULD BE IN NO MAN'S LAND FOR AN INDEFINITE PERIOD.

The recent by-election result in Richmond was an anti-Brexit vote by people who are quite comfortably off thank you very much "so please don't disturb our way of life".  

The only way we are going to find out our weaknesses and strengths is to get out of the EU now.  We have to start again, and become as independent as possible.  The anti-Brexit vote of Richmond was an anti-British "I don't believe in Britain" vote.

IMMIGRANTS SHOULD RETURN TO THEIR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN

Immigrants to the UK should return to their country of origin.  And the Government should make sure that they do.  We don't need them. When 600,000 per year and increasing come in there are inevitably massive problems.  This country just cannot cope.

ALL CURRY'S PRODUCTS ARE MADE ABROAD

Most people wandering into Curry's at this time of year may be looking for a bargain.  They never ask where is the product made?  99 times out of 100 the answer would be NOT IN THE UK.  The story is repeated across the nation in every imaginable business.  We need to get manufacturing and encourage British business for Britons.  

Trump has got himself the presidency falsely, by declaring his support for the American worker.  I very much doubt that he is sincere.  But his campaign message was correct.  If ever there was a need for trade barriers it is now.  

My daughter bought a trolley for her eight month old baby for Christmas.  You would have thought that someone in this country could have made such a product.  It was designed in America.  You can guess where it was manufactured, and it wasn't in the UK.  

The rich get richer and the poor get poorer because of globalisation.  The JAMS may just about manage.  But there are many today who are not managing at all.  Strangely, May and her confidant Hammond don't have anything to say about those.     

HAMMOND THE OXFORD SMOOTHIE

Did you see Hammond this morning standing in front of high-tech equipment in Gloucestershire, being fed questions that he had pre-prepared answers to, and occasionally looking down at his notes? I don't like Hammond being in charge of our finances.  This Remainer is such a slimey, slippery character. He is not for Brexit.  All his talk of soft and hard Brexits and that it will cost us 50 billion to leave the EU is just unpredictable rubbish.  He talks about boldness.  What would give certainty is a BOLD decision to leave the EU NOW.  No pratting about Mr Hammond!!!

We must get back to a manufacturing and agricultural economy, making things for ourselves and growing food for ourselves.  
        

THE NATIONAL DEBT = £122 BILLION = £122.000.000.000 = £122.000 MILLION

Never mind all this talk about balancing the books.  We are supposed to say well done Mr Hammond. He is a sickly smooth operator.  How on earth are we ever going to rid ourselves of this vast debt? One government after another has squandered our freedom and that of our descendants.  If ever interest rates increase to what a few years ago were usual levels, we are in deep trouble.  Where has all this money gone?  It has gone on the globalist rich at the expense of the poor.  We are at grave risk.  We must get out of the EU fast before we are dragged down. 

SHE DOESN'T GET IT - GLOBALISATION

POOR STANDARDS OF CHINESE IMPORTED GOODS

So Mrs May wants to involve the Chinese in our Nuclear Industry, when we are already overwhelmed by shoddy Chinese goods that do not meet our Standards.  It doesn't bear thinking about.  They are sold on low price so that a few can become rich.  Now more often than not, goods made in China are the only ones available.  Goods displayed in shops often do not show the country of origin.  Fridges and freezers sold by Curry's are a typical example.

Here are a few examples of cheap goods which I bought recently.  Bulbs that require the terminals to be filed to fit in their sockets.  'Long-lasting' bulbs that fail given the slightest knock.  A floodlight with two lights, one of which did not work.  A torch with a wire disconnected where it should have been soldered. The unreliability of these products are undermining what we have been used to with our standards.  I always look at the box to see where a product was made.   Invariably that product was made in China. 

Is this what May means by trading with the Chinese?  We sell Jaguars to them.  They get away with products that do not meet our standards.  

If the Chinese can't make reliable bulbs, how can we trust them with a nuclear power station?????         

TRUMP THE CHUMP AND HIS HANGERS ON

How on earth anyone is going to deal with Trump the Chump, and his family of hangers on, I do not know.   He and his family make me feel sick. I cannot respect him.  He gives me the creeps. This man is so ignorant.  Wait for more gaffs.  He says one thing and does another.  

I have to ask will it be any good looking to the U.S.?  Has the U.S. got the president it deserves?

GLOBALISATION - A FAILED DREAM

It has made a few rich.  The middle classes and the poor it has sent empty away.  It has destroyed indigenous industries.  The natural heritage and pride of people has been taken away and sold to conglomerates.  Control is in the hands of large financial institutions in major capitals. These are controlled by individuals who are paid vast salaries. 

The question facing politicians is how do you reverse this?  Nationalisation?

WHAT WAS THE BREXIT VOTE REALLY ABOUT? - GLOBALISATION

The problem is the same here as in the US.  Traditional industries have been closed.  The work has gone abroad.  Factories are left empty.  Foreign companies sell products originally designed and manufactured in this country back to us.  The Brexit vote was all about British pride and British jobs.

Mrs May is wasting her time trying to sell financial and legal services to the Indians.  She has so obviously been brainwashed by her husband. The Indians simply want to come here in exchange for something which they are quite capable doing themselves.   Globalist Dyson thinks we should welcome them, especially their students and graduates.   They both reveal their bankrupt thinking and that they have a low opinion of British design and engineering.   May and Dyson are both wrong.

THE RESULT OF YEARS OF QUANTITATIVE EASING

After years of quantitative easing everyone is wondering why the pound has fallen heavily in value. It doesn't take much imagination to realise why.  All this time the Bank of England has been lowering the value of the pound in our pockets.  It has been devaluing the pound by stealth.   At the same time the Bank of England has artificially kept interest rates at rock bottom. This is the economics of the madhouse.  We are now beginning to pay the real price of having cheap money.  The Bank of England has artificially interfered with the economy.  The government should take control of the Bank and restore a more traditional level of interest. 

Brexit is not to blame!!!

THE CONSERVATIVES ARE STILL THE SAME

They have reverted to type, or rather they haven't changed.  Corbyn has more imagination than May in his little finger, as have some of the other parties like the Greens. The conservatives are dishing out the same old politics.  Why oh why can't we just cut loose from the EU for the sake of everyone in this country, for the sake of the people in the EU, and the people in the rest of world? These old dinosaurs just cannot abide by a decision. All this talk about being cautious is so much rubbish. Conservatism defines itself by its hesitancy, delay, and anti-British attitude.  

In the end, globalism is anti-British.  It reflects a lack of trust in British engineering.         

MAY THROWS BRITISH ENGINEERING DOWN THE DRAIN AGAIN - HINKLEY POINT

She has not been single-minded about British Engineering, but caved-in to Chinese and French pressure. With such a large project one can certainly predict the outcome.  Costs will inevitably grow and the taxpayer and consumers will foot the bill.  

Whatever one's views are about nuclear power, this was a vote of NO CONFIDENCE in British Engineering.  

Jobs are not the priority.  British Engineering is. When are these dumb politicians going to realise it? 

The people should decide.  

MAY'S PLAN FOR BREXIT - NO PLAN

May said today that she would keep her plans secret and not reveal her negotiating hand.  There will be no running commentary.  Well that leaves me thinking that she is bereft of any plans.

I DESPAIR OVER MAY, DAVIS, JOHNSON AND FOX

I am very shocked at the slow response of these people to Brexit.  They really don't know where the country is going.

ACCORDING TO LIZ NICHOLL WE ARE A SPORTING SUPERPOWER

It is no surprise that the language of politics has entered the sports arena.  As a so-called sports superpower we have won more medals than China.  Isn't that great?   Medal tables should be abolished.  They are political propaganda.

The commentators fawn at the feet of winners in adulation. They make me sick.  Losers are forgotten, hardly ever  acknowledged or thanked for taking part.  Winners take all.   

The Olympic games should be abandoned.  They are too expensive for one country to put on.  The legacy is a number of stadiums in a capital city favouring the people who live there. 

Far from being an inspiration, they are a bad example to others.  The philosophy is, if you win, you will be famous and rich.  As in football, the values are all wrong.  The very meaning of sport is undermined.  Nowhere is this truer than in the USA where sport is totally controlled by commercial interests.

     

MR SADIQ KAHN - AN OPPORTUNIST - THE DANGER OF AN ELECTED MAYOR

He has an eye for opportunity.  This came when he put himself forward to be mayor of London knowing that he would have the support of a large ethnic community.  Mr Kahn knows how to win regardless of principles.  Following his success, he now views his domain as his own where he can do and say as he pleases, regardless of what the politicians in Westminster say.  He wants to rule London as a king of an independent enclave of the UK.  The rot has set in.  I don't believe he is a real Labour man at all.  The London electorate have elected a leader of a third front.  I can see the same thing happening in other cities.  It was a bad move to have elected mayors. 

After a long delay, Mr Kahn now tells us that he supports Owen Smith for the labour leadership.  He would love to depose the elected leader Jeremy Corbyn, claiming that Jeremy did not shout about Brexit.  And we know how Mr Kahn enjoys shouting as he shouted down other speakers in the referendum debates.  

Mr Kahn knows why the country voted for Brexit. The vote was won was because the real labour people and workers wanted Brexit. And Jeremy, the Brexit skeptic, knows that too.  

If the whole country could cast its vote on who should be mayor of London, Mr Kahn would be given his marching orders.  So Mr Kahn you shouldn't throw your weight around as though you were President.  You should know your place. 

    

SO LABOUR WANT TO BORROW UP TO 500 BILLION IN ORDER TO 'INVEST'

This is laughable. Smith and Corbyn are competing to be the biggest spender.  If they really want to bankrupt the country then Labour would. This is the politics of the asylum. We will all be poor.  Labour will never be elected with such mad ideas. Tony Benn will turn in his grave.  

But May shouldn't gloat over Labour's crazy policy.  She has to think carefully about spending government money (our money) where it will be most effective for British science, technology, and industry.  We must get back to manufacturing.   

SAY YES TO A RE-BALANCED ECONOMY

It seems that Brexit has caused a downturn in the service industry.  It's long overdue.  The ratio of industrial activity to service providers has been at the ridiculous level of 1:4.  There are not enough doers and creators and too many spouters and experts talking about the economy.  We have made ourselves very vulnerable to a recession.  And it is why the expenditure on the current Hinkley Point project and HS2 are a waste of resources that should be spread around helping to build British science, technology, industry and exports.  We need to get our act together and think again.  

Did you see the Ken Loach documentary?  It depicted his father working in an absolutely massive Coventry factory now wiped from the face of the earth.  The factory was full of machines operated by highly skilled engineers and technicians.  I weep over the destruction of our manufacturing base.     

SAY NO TO HS2

May should save any money that would have been spent on HS2 (and Hinkley Point) and spend it on a real expansion expansion in industrial output helping British science and technology, British industry and our exports.  We are such a small country that we don't need to whizz about.  The existing rail network is sufficient for us to maintain, and yes expand with better local and intercity services.   

SAY NO TO THE HINKLEY POINT JOINT NUCLEAR POWER STATION PROJECT

1. The expenditure is too much to commit to.

2.  We are sharing the initial cost with two other countries who could certainly hold us to ransom in the future.

3.  We have our own engineers and designers with better ideas.

4.  It should be an entirely British project, giving British jobs.

5.  Small, easily repeatable, mass produced stations would give benefits of supplies in the short and long terms.  

6. Smaller stations would be easier to finance and deliver on time.

7. Smaller stations would be easier to decommission in a phased fashion.

8. Smaller stations could easily be replaced in a phased fashion without loss of supplies.

9.  Smaller stations could easily be integrated with new forms of supply.     

10.  Smaller stations would be easier to phase out all together when other supplies become cheaper.

11.  And finally, why aren't we exporting nuclear stations to the rest of the world, built on time and delivered at the agreed price? 

MAY ABUSES CORBYN

At PMQs last week May, with twisted lips, said triumphantly, to Corbyn,  "does this remind you of anybody?"  I didn't know how to take it, and probably Corbyn didn't either.   I wasn't sure if she was referring to Thatcher, Cameron, or Corbyn himself, given that she had mocked Corbyn immediately before.  Here was an opportunity for May to change the political tone, but we had same old abusive politics from the conservatives, as for example when Cameron said to Corbyn, "resign, man!"  Jeremy doesn't do abuse.  The conservatives do.  The abuse is very infectious.

MAY DRAGGING HER FEET

May, so we are having to pay individual lawyers £5000 a day for at least two years.  This is BRUSSELS BUREAUCRACY gone completely MAD.   The lawyers will be laughing all the way to the bank, as will the so-called negotiators who will probably make more.  It is an overhead we can do without.  WHY CAN'T WE SIMPLY SAY TO THE EU, WE ARE NOW OUT.  AND IT IS UP TO YOU WHETHER YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH US?  LET NEGOTIATIONS BE BETWEEN COMPANIES, NOT BETWEEN BUREAUCRATS.    

ACCORDING TO MAY WE ARE OPEN FOR TRADE

Er, it seems that we are open for trade, wide open, selling our assets like Arm Holdings, football clubs, power stations all in the name of globalisation.  It will mean jobs, so May says.  But where will the decisions be made? In Japan, China and France of course. But more importantly, where will the money go?  To Japan, China and France of course - all money sucked out of the country.  We are being sold down the river. Presumably, this is supposed to be under trade agreements with the EU.  If it wasn't serious, it would be a big laugh.  

May doesn't care.  She has no industrial strategy.   She has no vision of creating a balanced economy between the city and industry.  Plenty of talk, but that's all.    

MAY'S VICIOUSNESS DURING PMQS

Jeremy Corbyn was consistently asking serious questions in a civil manner.  Instead of answering his questions, May viciously replied, mocking Corbyn.  This was not funny.  But the media thought it was hilarious.  They described it as a fine 'performance'.  I find Corbyn's approach more reasonable and to my liking - all without twisting of lips.

She should respect Jeremy Corbyn and anyone else, and not be influenced by her parliamentary colleagues egging her on. 

A QUICK EXIT FROM THE EU

Under Article 50, a Member State would notify the European Council of its intention to exit the Union and a withdrawal agreement would be negotiated between the Union and that State. The treaties of the European Union would cease to be applicable to that State FROM THE DATE OF THE AGREEMENT....  

THE AGREEMENT CAN BE NEGOTIATED QUICKLY.   WE COULD THEN START TRADE NEGOTIATIONS WITH ALL COUNTRIES WITHOUT BEING IN THE EU.  AS KERRY SAID TODAY IN THE PRESENCE OF BORIS, THE US CAN'T NEGOTIATE WITH THE UK BECAUSE THE UK IS STILL IN THE EU.   

THERESA MAY'S WAY OF SELLING GREAT BRITAIN

Imagine you were Boris Johnson promoting Britain as Great.  Then you find that your boss Theresa May has permitted the sale of the one outstanding computer asset that we had.  How would you feel?  Theresa May has allowed the sale of ARM Holdings to an unreliable Japanese company.  BORIS, YOU ARE WORKING FOR TRAITORS.  You have had the legs cut from beneath you.  It is time to get out and start a new party or join UKIP.  

MAY'S MISTAKE - DID SHE CHECK ON THE FINANCIAL STATUS OF SOFTBANK

Today the value of Softbank shares fell by 10%. The Japanese market had expected that Softbank would try to reduce its debt, not increase it.  It is now in excess of 100 billion dollars. 

So did the shareholders do proper due diligence and examine the status of Softbank?  They obviously shut their eyes and took the money.  

Did the UK Government check on the ability of Softbank to sustain this level of debt?  IT OBVIOUSLY DID NOT.  

MAY'S FIRST BIG MISTAKE - ALLOWING THE SALE OF ARM HOLDINGS TO JAPAN

Just like the others in the city, she has no interest and no pride in British industry.  She has allowed the sale of this Cambridge based British company for £24.3 billion pounds to the Japanese company Softbank.  ARM Holdings was the last major computing company that this country had.  It had roots going back to the time of the ACORN computer. I bought one for my son.  The British shareholders should be ashamed.   

MAYS NAIVETY

I was astonished at May's naive promises made during her inaugural speech outside No 10.  AND NOT A WORD ABOUT BREXIT.  THIS IS A LAMB TO THE SLAUGHTER.

SLAVERY FOR PEOPLE FROM THE EU

I stayed over the weekend at Wokefield Park, near Reading, a very large hotel with a golf course and a BMW training school.  The numerous staff were almost all foreigners.  Hardly any could speak English. Thus they walked past without speaking, seemingly in a silent world.  They all looked tired. I was amazed to see this.  We have become just like the ancient Roman empire using foreigners, hidden and unseen, as slaves. Business is making profits out of slavery, in many industries such as hotels, farming and fishing.  This should cease. There should be a much greater use of British workers.

There is no sign of TM being 'humbled' by her crowning.  She is triumphant, and smirking with her supporters.

She claims to have been chosen by the 'party'.  Really, she was crowned by the skulduggery of her parliamentary supporters.  The geremandering will be noticed by the country.  She appears innocent. But she knows full well that her supporters are not.

These U-turners would tell us black was white and not bat an eyelid.    

Now that Andrea Leadsom has dropped out, the Brexiteers should leave the Conservative party, and join UKIP.  

THERESA MAY WANTS A CALM CAMPAIGN

What when her supporters, that Duncan fellow and that Scottish Tory leader are shouting their heads off!!!  

THERESA MAY - DOES SHE HAVE THE STAMINA FOR THE JOB?

Theresa appears capable as Home Secretary.   When not doing that job she has been in hiding.  We have heard very little of her.  So how would she cope with Cameron's job?  She nodded-off recently in Parliament when Cameron was talking about Chilcot.   I don't blame her.  But does she have the physical stamina to be prime minister?  The wear on Cameron's face and body is testimony to the rigours of his job. His blood pressure must go sky high during prime minister's questions when his face often goes red.  Theresa may have been able to pace herself to do the Home Secretary's job but does she have the physical characteristics that will sustain her as prime minister.

THERESA MAY - A 'BLOODY DIFFICULT WOMAN'

“Ken Clarke says I am a bloody difficult woman. The next man to find that out will be Jean-Claude Juncker,” the Home Secretary said to laughter.  Theresa May said this in support of herself as the right candidate to negotiate a route out of the EU.  Is this strident attitude the correct one to take? She took it with the Police.  Cameron took a similar cock-sure attitude with the EU and came away with very little.  Thatcher demeaned  the miners with the same attitude.  May will not be good to bring unity to the country.

If you were to interview these two what would you look for?   Who has a proven record of being interested in the job? Theresa remained quiet during the Brexit campaign, mumbling something about remaining - I never saw her speak.  Andrea on the other hand took a major role along with a number of others, travelling the length and breadth of the country.  She knew the importance of the decision the Country was about to make.  Theresa thought it was a foregone conclusion and left it all to Cameron, Osborne and the 'experts'.  If Theresa refused to find the time to get involved with the Brexit campaign, how can she expect to find the time to be prime minister.

ANDREA LEADSOM TAKES A POSITIVE VIEW

There has been far too much negativity around from a number of sources.  We are all guilty of it. The media revels in it and calls it news.  We know Cameron, Osborne, and Carney are guilty of it, but in their case it was to talk Britain down and out for the count. May realises she doesn't really want the job after all.  But Andrea Leadsom sees a bright future out of the EU.

Of the three candidates for the Conservative party leadership, Andrea Leadsom seems to be the most genuine.  We saw a lot of her during the Brexit debates and were able to assess her knowledge, experience and character.

Just as Blair's Government had no post war plan for Iraq, so Cameron's Government had no post Brexit plan.  Cameron's Government has not learned the lesson of Iraq. For heaven's sake man! Just go, and take Osborne with you.

Steve Crowther of UKIP wrote today: "A decent government would have prepared for Brexit, even if doubting it would happen, so that when we did vote for it the plans were already drawn up."

LONDONERS ARE IN A BUBBLE

The results of the referendum confirms that Londoners live in a bubble.  They do not understand why most of the rest of the country voted to come out of the EU.  They think that they are right and mount protests saying that the rest of the country got it wrong.  The media, London based, supports and perpetuates the myth of the rightness of Londoners.  But out there is a people with strong backbones that apposes the London view.  This anti-London effect will be reflected in the choice of leader for the Conservative party when the members come to vote.  This was the reason for the politicians trying to force the leadership election with a crowning of May.  Of course we haven't seen the worst of politicians actions in this election yet.      

THEY FULFIL THEIR OWN PROPHECIES OF DOOM

Why haven't Mark Carney and George Osborne followed their master Cameron and resigned?  They scurry around trying to justify that they were right.  Their cry now goes out that a deteriorating financial position had 'suddenly' appeared within a few days of the Referendum.  We have idiots in control of our finances. They should go.  They are talking the country down, creating panic.

Doesn't it seem weird, that after Leavers won the Brexit campaign we have Remainers Phillip Hammond, George Osborne and Theresa May acting as if nothing had happened.   Phillip Hammond hypocritically said, it doesn't matter that he and Theresa May voted to remain. And Boris is right, they are not promoting the advantages of being out of the EU.  They just cannot bring themselves to admit that they were wrong, and they shouldn't be in control.

She conducted herself very well throughout the Brexit campaign.  I was extremely impressed with her approach.  With support from Ian Duncan Smith she could win the leadership election. Boris could give his support too.   These are reasonable moderate people.  Such a team would be liked by the country at large.

China does business amounting to approximately 400 billion pounds a year with the EU.  It has no agreement on freedom of movement.  

The US does more at approximately 500 billion pound a year.  It too has no agreement with the EU on freedom of movement. 

So what do we have to negotiate for?

The EU is a member of the World Trade Organisation (WTO).  The UK is a member of the WTO.  We could simply trade under WTO rules.

Quitting the EU means you can trade with the World, freely, business to business, individual to business, or individual to individual.

PARLIAMENT IN MELTDOWN

Welcome to the Asylum!  Politicians have completely lost the plot.  Cameron was headed for a nervous breakdown.  The Speaker joked, as though he was in charge of a bunch of idiots. All stunned by the result of the Referendum.  They couldn't believe that the British Public would do such a thing to them.  The British Public has spoken.  The British Public wants answers. Migrants from the EU to go. Jobs for hard working British people.  Politicians must think again. 

LABOUR AND CONSERVATIVES ON COURSE TO SELF-DESTRUCT

All that politicians can talk about is themselves.  No-one is prepared to talk about the issues raised by the Referendum, and what caused the result. It was all to do with immigration.  That was the reason the country voted Leave.  Neither Labour nor Conservatives want to know.  They are on course to self-destruct.  They were both given a very clear message by Nigel Farage.

WE HAVE TO GIVE THE REFERENDUM DECISION A GOOD GO

If Remain had won, the Leavers would have accepted the decision.  But we have made a majority decision to leave the EU.  The politicians now know what the electorate want.  There should be no fudges, or compromises.  Get out and get on with it.  Take the initiative.  Take the hits that the EU imposes. Don't let the turmoil in the Labour and Conservative Parties affect the leaving processes.  

BORIS IS A CHEERFUL SORT

There is a great deal of misery around just a few days after the Referendum.  Boris is unusual among politicians and political commentators in that he remains cheerful, upbeat, he jokes, and doesn't mind being laughed at or with.  To me he sounds just like the kind of bloke to lead the nation.   

TAKING THE HEAT OUT OF THE ECONOMY

The present turmoil in the economy will be a good thing for those living in the UK.  Ever increasing growth will be replaced with a steadying or even a decline in the economy.  There will be job losses. This will discourage immigrants from coming to Britain.  Pressure will be eased on everything. There will be fewer journeys made by car and lorry.  Hospitals will be able to function within their means.  You will be able to get a doctor's appointment easily.  Interest rates would rise. Savers would get a reasonable return.  Exports will be cheaper.  Imports will be dearer.  Houses would become affordable.  The very rich who buy houses in London hoping to make a killing will sell and get out.  The gap between rich and poor would decrease.  So being out of the EU will be exactly as predicted by the so called experts, but our quality of life could well improve.  And we will have control of our country with no pressure from the EU.  

REMAIN EXPECTED TO WIN AND LEAVE EXPECTED TO LOSE

It is so so obvious that neither Remain nor Leave have any plans for a Leave win and a Remain lose.

I AGREE WITH THE EU FOREIGN MINISTERS

Come on Cameron!  Why isn't a meeting with EU ministers and our negotiating team already arranged?  The outcome of this referendum has taken you all by surprise.  Now is not the time for dilly dallying.  Get a move on for our sake and the EU's sake.  Either you should have resigned immediately and a temporary leader appointed, or you should get on with the negotiations.  Whatever, we cannot wait.  

A CROSS-PARTY TEAM TO BRUSSELS ASAP

WE HAVE VOTED TO COME OUT.  WE WANT NO MESSING ABOUT.  A CROSS-PARTY TEAM SHOULD BE CHOSEN BY PARLIAMENT AND SENT TO BRUSSELS IMMEDIATELY TO START THE NEGOTIATING PROCESS. CAMERON SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO DELAY THE PROCESS.  THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SHOW THAT WE MEAN BUSINESS AND TO COME TOGETHER.

THE BBC IN A REFERENDUM BUBBLE?

London voted to remain.  The bleary eyed BBC commentators appeared shocked, dazed and stuck for words.  I suspect because they couldn't believe the result.  They were all thinking that Cameron would win.  It serves them all right for being so biased to the Remain side. 

WHY HASN'T MARK CARNEY ALSO OFFERED TO RESIGN?

He sided with Osborne and interfered in the EU debate.

HAS NIGEL FARAGE CONVEYED THE TRUTH?

He has told it as it is - with a very large actual photograph.  Photographs do not lie, unlike Cameron and Kinnock.  You are looking at the plain simple TRUTH.  The reason the Remanians have reacted as they have is that they had no answer to THE TRUTH.  They have used Jo Cox's murder as the excuse for their reaction towards Nigel Farage.  

The Remanians have said nothing about the condition of the man who did the murder, apart from using words like he is evil.  I have to ask what makes a person get like that, that he wants to kill someone? Clearly, there has been a breakdown in the mental health care of this man.  There is a sad lack understanding of mental health by psychiatrists throughout the country.

The answer is a big NO.  We are represented by people we have not directly elected.  More and more powers will be taken away from us.   We will move towards a totalitarian style system, dominated by big business.  Our vote will become meaningless.  And the EU will ignore any vetos.  

QUIETEN YOUR LANGUAGE DOWN

We are being advised to quieten our language by polititians and the BBC, in view of the Jo Cox murder.  Cameron and Osborne should quieten theirs. No-one has been hyping, pouting and lying through their teeth more than these two. And I am disgusted by the bunch of creeps at the BBC.  

The question time on a Wednesday should be abolished.  It serves only to encourage the kind of inflammatory language that we get from Cameron and Osborne, fed as they are, with known questions, and answers and sarcastic jokes prepared in advance.  Its all a farce.  Cameron should have the guts to sack his advisers.   

This was simply another attempt to use the Jo Cox murder to shut the mouths of the Brexiteers, and ecourage the Remainians.

Cameron and Corbyn should LISTEN to what the people are saying.  We want to LEAVE THE EU, HAVE FREEDOM AND CONTROL, AND TRADE WITH WITH THE WORLD.  

THE MIGHTY IMF SAYS 5% LESS TRADE IF WE LEAVE. SO WHAT!

If we leave the EU, the UK economy, according to the IMF, will fall by 5%.  I would willingly take a small hit to be free of the EU, and regain control of this Country. Cameron and Osborne and the remainiacs have clearly lost control. 

I want this Country to be able to decide its own destiny.  We would AT LEAST have a chance to improve our lot.

At least fifty people were shot dead today by a lone terrorist in Orlando Florida.  The US is a large country with fifty states between which people can move freely.  With large Muslim populations in many states, what chance does what US have of putting a stop to this killing?  This is enough evidence for saying all countries of the EU would be safer if they were OUT.  Each country should protect its own borders.  

LEAVING THE EU WOULD PUT OUR SCIENCE AT RISK?

There are too many rich foreign students hiking up the costs of University education, inflating the salaries of academics, and that at the expense of poorer UK students.   

It is high time to get back to more traditional British values in Research.  Money spent on research should come from the Treasury and British Industry.  If another country wants to support British research, that's fine.  All research expenditure should be based in this country.  All new ideas should arise out of UK research, followed where applicable by patents, design, manufacture, testing and sales all with a UK label. Patents should never be given away.   

I wonder what James Dyson and the head of JCB make of the claim that research would be at risk if we leave the EU?  The British Governments of the past have not fully supported British scientists and Engineers.  Governments have relied on the City and Service Industries.

What is up with this group of scientists, whingeing that research would be at risk if we left the EU?  We have always been good enough, haven't we?  And stop thinking negatively that all new ideas come from elsewhere, such as the USA.  Our money should go on our research as it always did in the past.  For inspiration and motivation, think of all the great British scientists who did their research without the EU.

TO TRADE WITH THE EU DO WE NEED A TRADE AGREEMENT?

No we don't!  The US, Russia, and China are the biggest traders with the EU.  In 2014, China exported to the EU 302 billion dollars worth of goods without a trade agreement.  The UK exported 191 billion dollars. (See page 202 of Inconvenient Truths About UK Trade and the EU, by William Dartmouth).  

Of course, the UK, US, Russia, China, and all the other countries of the world don't sell anything. Only individual businesses trade with each other.

As a consequence of EU membership, the UK cannot enter into a Trade Agreement with another country.  When Cameron goes on a "trade delegation" his hands are tied behind his back by the EU.  He can merely promote British sales- his skills in PR really come in.  Any sales must be within EU rules.

He also seems to think (like the idiot that he is) that freedom of movement is a good thing.  Well it is.  But not completely unrestricted as he and the EU advocate.  I don't think any other country in the EU has the same problem as we do. The whole point is that if we come out of the EU we could then have the power to restrict immigration to a level we could cope with, letting in those who we want to have here.  Immigrants are coming to Europe by land, sea and air from all over the world.  We need to get back to reality and set sensible targets, Mr Cameron.

What would this Government do to any establishment that had failed abysmally to achieve the target it had been set? Sack the Chief Executive? Impeach the Chief Executive and supporters? Sue the Chief Executive for lying and deceiving? Look for a different way of operating? Appoint a new Chief Executive?

Remember Mr Cameron, for every finger you point at the Brexiteers, there are four pointing back. Impeachment would be appropriate for you Cameron, and Osborne. A back bench motion of no confidence would be too kind.

WHY IS THE EU SO CORRUPTING?

It seems (according to the so-called experts at the BBC who like to "explain" EU finances to us mere mortals) that we give approximately 200 million pounds to the EU every week. The BBC "carefully explained" that this is nett expenditure of the 350 million or so that we  are supposed to hand over each week.  In its generosity, the EU dispenses back to us approximately 150 million.  The BBC treats people like idiots. 

The 150 million (approximate) is a bribe to keep us all sweet.  The EU is giving back our money. Thank you very much EU.  This money is given to various organisations, some big, some small.  So how about naming some of the big ones.  We could start with the Institute of Fiscal Studies high-lighted by Cameron today as being the "gold standard".  Then there is the other "gold standard", the BBC itself dancing to the Government's tune.  And there is a host other Government backed beneficiaries including the bank of England, headed by a Canadian of all people.   This is corruption on a grand scale, undermining  national institutions.  This is how the EU manipulates people.  No wonder they all worship at the altar of the EU, all at Cameron's command, calling down fire and brimstone!  They betray our country and other countries in the EU.  They are all in hock to the EU. 

The Institute for Fiscal Studies threatens us with two more years of austerity.  Really!  Is that all?  I would willingly take that in exchange for freedom from the EU for a lifetime.  In any case the approximate figures are small beer compared to the national expenditure.  Cameron emphasises the economic benefits of being in the EU.  He makes no case for being out. It would be better to have a more balanced view from the Government.  But the economic battle is the wrong battle to be fighting, judging from the numbers of migrants still coming on flimsy boats.  Mr Cameron, we just cannot go on like this.

CAMERON & OSBORNE BEHAVING LIKE RULERS OF A FAILED STATE

Today, they heaped lie upon lie about our economic prospects in order to save their skins - their jobs are on the line.  Al-Qaeda would welcome them.  They willingly give away their Country.  Traitors would be an appropriate description. They are a disgrace. I find it hard to accept that such people are supposed to be our leaders. Whatever the outcome of the referendum, this is the end of Cameron and Osborne.    

LABOUR AND THE SCOTS SHOULD SAY NO TO THE EU

This is a no-brainer - just think what would happen to Cameron and Osborne - the arch enemies of Britain. 

WHAT DO BRITISH CREATORS THINK ABOUT BREXIT?

The government turns to economists for the remain case. Did the Bank of England predict the recent banking crisis? Did The International Monetary Fund predict the crisis? This much we can be very certain about - the failure of a large number of top economists in these organisations to predict the crisis. Did anyone predict the crisis? No-one did. So why should anyone trust economists to get anything right? Economists opinions are questionable. Yet economists seem to rule. Why? Economists create or make nothing.

The government doesn't consult creators (engineers, scientists, architects, musicians, artists and the like - those who create and make the world what it is) to ask their opinion on whether or not Britain should remain in the EU. Yet we do have a referendum (thanks largely to UKIP and Nigel Farage) when for one short time everyone can be involved in the decision.

When it comes to creativity and originality, the whole world is our market place, not just the EU. Britain has traditionally been at the forefront of innovation and inventiveness, but in recent years (ever since the World War II) it has not truly capitalised on it, but it has been squandered by successive governments and those dreadful economists. 

We invented the computer, coding, radar, the jet engine and afterwards we built the first jet airliner. We even invented the Internet. I would like to see some of that spirit back in Britain. It is not just about jobs. It is a matter of pride, in the ownership, the design and testing processes - designed, manufactured and tested in Britain.  These are lessons learned by our German and Japanese friends.

That's right Yellow through and through.  He's afraid Nigel Farage might bite him on the bum. Cameron refuses to debate live with Nigel Farage. Cameron is the proverbial bully boy who is really a coward.

WHY IS THE BBC BIASED AGAINST BREXIT?

The BBC leads with the views of Cameron and the Remainians. The Remainians are given the privilege of initiating a conversation, drawing on the opinions of 'experts' who have been lined-up. The Remainians and the 'experts are interviewed at length by the BBC, giving more time to a pro Cameron view..

The Brexiteers are usually made to take second place. When the Brexiteers do take the initiative, the BBC brings on its own attack wolf. And we are treated to an extensive talk on the BBC's, supposed independent, but undoubtedly biased and pro Cameron view. I am tired of so-called BBC 'experts' acting like failed politicians.

HOW MUCH IS THE BBC DEPENDENT ON THE EU?

WHY DOES THE BBC IGNORE NIGEL FARAGE?

Nigel has been working towards a BREXIT for over 20 years. Yet the BBC persists in ignoring what he has to say. The BBC and its interviewers are most definitely biased.

SAY NO TO THE EU

If you want to limit immigration - say NO to the EU. Do we know what the country would be like if we left the EU? - an accusation frequently levelled at Brexiteers. Well we certainly do know what we will get if we remain in the EU. There will continue to be a massive flow of European migrants taking our jobs for lower pay. This we can do nothing about. And do you trust the EU to stem the flow of non-European migrants? I certainly do not. The migrants will eventually overwhelm us and change the character of our country. Paying Turkey will not work. Jeremy Corbyn thinks that a Brexit will weaken workers rights and that the Conservatives would have a bonfire of them. But we know that if we remain in the EU neither Corbyn nor Cameron could do anything about foreign workers coming here and taking jobs that are the RIGHT OF BRITISH WORKERS.

If you want to live in a free independent Country - say NO to the EU. Do you think we would be "stronger, safer and better off" in the EU? It is surely better to say we would be stronger, safer and better off OUT of the EU. We would be in control of our own affairs, able to make our own laws, and not hamstrung by Brussels' bureaucracy.

If you want to trade freely with any country - say NO to the EU. Investors are apparently holding back from investing. But wait until we come out of the EU. They will be falling over themselves to get in. They will not be able to resist investing in an independent country able to control its own business affairs with legal and financial and accounting brains second to none. So why all this scaremongering by Osborne and Cameron?

If you want your country back - say NO to the EU. President Obama would have us stay in the EU, not for security, but for American big business. What other reason could he have to interfere in the affairs of this country? He is being a puppet of US big businesses, which we know all about here. We grow fat on MacDonald's beef burgers, Amazon dominates the book market, Microsoft the computer market, and Apple the phone market. Many of our companies have been taken over by US conglomerates. We in Britain all have our suspicions that they pay little in tax. The EU has come late to make a feeble attempt to prevent tax evasion which has been going on for many years. Mr Obama, do you realise the anti-American feeling you might generate? For you to say in one breath the special relationship will be fine, and in another, the UK will be at the back of the queue (er line) in any trade deals, is the height of hypocrisy. You are so, sooo wrong! You have forgotten one thing. The dollar rules the waves in America. The US will not slow or reduce its business with the UK because it has left the EU. AND HOW WOULD YOU LIKE IT IF WE AS FRIENDS COMMENTED ON YOUR DOMESTIC POLITICS? MAY BE COMMENTS ON HOW YOU DEAL WITH YOUR GUN LAWS. THE RESULTS ARE AS BAD AS ANY ACTS OF TERRORISM. There appears to be no limit to the interference from the US. Clinton has added her voice to Obama's. And Nigel has kindly revealed that the trade deal between the US and Australia took less than a year, not the ten years being threatened by Obama.

Are we good enough to survive alone? You bet we are! We did it before we joined the EU. We are looking outward, not inward as Obama said. Are those who want to stay in the EU admitting that they are weak and dependent on Brussels? Are they admitting that they enjoy the 'free' handouts, dismissing what they pay (in all its guises) to the EU? Would we really be alone? Of course not! There is no reason for not trading with any nation on terms we find mutually beneficial. Wouldn't you rather see a return to the system we had only a few years ago when we were independent of the EU? Past governments have allowed whole industries to be closed down and moved abroad. One good example was the closure of the Black Night rocket program. Every day I could hear the faint roar from its engine as it was being tested. But it was sold to the French and used for the first stage of the Arianne rocket. The list of industries is long. History tells us there may come a time when when we need them, as we found out in 1940. The time of World War II was one of extreme British inventiveness. Restore power to our Parliament and say NO to the EU. Our fathers and mothers fought for this freedom. They would turn in their graves if they could see what was happening today to this country.

Undoubtedly, a Brexit would make Cameron's and Osborne's position almost untenable. They have staked their reputation on remaining in the EU. I would vote NO just to see these two out of government.
