CALL A GENERAL ELECTION IMMEDIATELY

Whoever becomes Prime Minister should be bold and call a General Election immediately.  Corbyn is reeling and Labour is low in the polls.  The Conservatives need a sound majority to make sure that they can overcome the impasse in Parliament caused by Labour and Conservative naysayers.  The popularity of the potential leaders is high. An election would also give Conservative party members the chance to choose new representives, deselecting those who oppose no deal and brexit.   

DARROCH THE FOOL

If Darroch is representative of all civil servants then all civil servants must be fools.  Such people don't deserve to represent or serve the country.  It is all very well to write a report honestly, but to use such language as he has done of the American President and close colleagues is the height of ignorance.  In the age of electronic communication, he should have known that his thoughts were almost bound to be leaked.  He should have been more circumspect.  Darroch has brought his resignation on himself.  He cannot blame Boris.  One cannot but believe that he was politically motivated, and anti-Brexit.  It is certainly in the public interest to find out what kind of people represent us.

Laughably, Mr Hunt, the "business man" who is supposed to know, doesn't realise that we don't even have the start of a Silcone Valley.  Why?  Because successive Governments have given away brilliant industries making our own devices and computers.
